TRAINING CONDUCTED ON DEVELOPING POLICY EVALUATION
2025-10-02

The training-workshop on “The Stages of Developing a Policy Evaluation Plan” has successfully been conducted by the Authority for Government Supervision in collaboration with the German Institute for Development Evaluation (DEval).

The workshop was attended by representatives from the Office of the President of Mongolia, relevant ministries and government agencies, as well as the Ulaanbaatar Mayor’s Office and the National Statistics Committee.

The two-day event enabled participants to boost their knowledge and capacity to develop a policy evaluation plan and define the terms of reference for a policy evaluation in the field of “Food Supply and Security.” This was an important step as Mongolia strives to introduce international standards for collaborative policy evaluation.

The Chief of the Authority for Government Supervision, Bataa Battsetseg received a torch (#EvalTorch) from the DEval, with the slogan of uniting the global evaluation community and guiding evaluation methods towards a fair and sustainable future.

This torch relay began in 2015 as part of the “International Year of Evaluation” and with some 92 successful events covering more than 70 countries around the world, supports the development of the evaluation sector and promotes the introduction of innovative ideas and advanced technologies in evaluation process.
