For the first time in Mongolia, four government organizations — the Ulaanbaatar City Governor’s Office, the Social Insurance Office of Sukhbaatar District, the Social Insurance Office of Chingeltei District, and the Second State Central Hospital — have been awarded the “Asian Model Organization” certificate.

This recognition marks the first occasion in which Mongolia’s public institutions have been internationally evaluated following the introduction of an excellence-based continuous improvement system across government bodies. The initiative was implemented under the leadership and coordination of the Authority for Government Supervision.

The “Asian Model Organization” status demonstrates that these institutions are improving the operational quality, effectiveness, and transparency of public administration and services at a systemic level. It also shows that Mongolian public organizations are now capable of sharing best practices internationally.
