The Authority for Government Supervision and the United Nations Resident Coordinator’s Office jointly convened a meeting and discussion aimed at enhancing public sector performance and strengthening collaboration.
The meeting focused on improving the productivity of public institutions, advancing monitoring and evaluation systems for policy implementation, and identifying priorities for future cooperation.
The event was attended by Mr. Purevjav Batbaatar, Chief of the Authority for Government Supervision, and Mr. Jaap van Hierden, United Nations Resident Coordinator, along with other officials. Presentations were delivered by the AGS on Enhancing the Productivity of Public Institutions and Opportunities and Trends in Applying Artificial Intelligence in Monitoring and Evaluation of Development Policy Implementation followed by an interactive discussion and Q&A session.
Both sides noted that the meeting marks an important step towards establishing practical cooperation to improve public sector efficiency, strengthen monitoring and evaluation frameworks, and introduce advanced technologies.
