From March 17 to 22, 2025, a team of officials from the Authority for Government Supervision and the National Evaluation Committee visited the Audit Court of the French Republic and of the Kingdom of Spain respectively to help contribute to consolidating the Mongolia’s third neighbor international foreign policy and activities, as well as to study and implement relevant experiences gained by the above two nations in developing citizen-friendly, fair, and good governance.

The delegation  led by  Unurbayar,  Head of the Authority for Government Supervision, and  Lkhagvadorj, the Secretary of the National Evaluation Committee,  was provided with detailed introductions to the activities of the audit  courts of the two countries, and had  a series of meetings and discussions, exchanging information on the activities of relevant organizations of Mongolia, France, and Spain to monitor operations of public institutions, provide evaluations, conclusions, remedy and recommendations.

While in Spain, the team also visited the International Committee for the Abolition of the Death Penalty, based in Madrid to, meet with the Committee leaders, and reaffirm Mongolia’s continued commitment to contributing to international efforts to abolish the death penalty.
